Complete restoration of painting and frame, England XVIII century.
Oil on canvas. Painting was taken off the stretcher, old varnish removed, painting cleaned where is was necessary, re-touch where necessary(small paint losses). Painting stretched on new stretcher(original stretcher could not be used because of the severe pest damage).
Painting was varnishes with  UV protective varnish. Frame was disinfected, strengthened, cleaned, losses reconstructed and gilded with 24K gold.
